How to Install curl software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

curl software package provides command line tool for transferring data with URL syntax, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install curl

curl is installed in your system.

Make ensure the curl package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep curl *

You will get with curl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
